The Gun

“Grade II listed Georgian public house”

We were given the enviable opportunity to re-vamp this beautiful grade II listed pub. Standing on the bank of the river Thames, The Gun has survived the extensive re-development of the surrounding area of Canary Wharf and Docklands over the years, It gives us a reminder of a time when wharfs bustled and the docks industry thrived in this part of London.

We embraced this historic value in the re-design, walking into the various snugs and rooms is like glimpsing into a time over 150 years ago. New artwork and photography celebrating the age of the docks, beautiful period light fittings, taxidermy and a room full of guns mounted to the wall, add to the overall atmosphere and ambience of the space.

The main bar and dining area have been re-invigorated with feature wine display joinery units, wall panelling and fixed seating. The result is an interior that is completely unique for this area of London, a truly memorable visit awaits the customer.
