The Poor Boys

“ A New Orleans street food concept”

We were so excited to be given the opportunity to design this original New Orleans inspired restaurant in Kingston Upon Thames. Poor Boys plays homage to the Po’Boy sandwich, which is very popular in the south of the U.S and can be traced back to French influenced New Orleans in the 1920s. The space is intimate but full of life, it could almost be a theatre set, nautical memorabilia to suit the fantastic seafood on offer alongside reclaimed tin and timber shiplap wall cladding, evoking the pop up food shacks found on the beach fronts of southern states.
